The Evolution Of the Void is an interdisciplinary project, on the different theories underlying the concept of Void. From western heritage to eastern culture, from contemporary science to avant-garde art explorations, the meaning of emptiness has an incredible & varied evolution. Our goal is to create an interesting narrative which give a more conscious framework about the philosophic aspects to visitors. The exhibition uses different forms of media to invite visitors to interact with the space & installations by combining illustrations & games for a new way of learning.

Manuel Scortichini

Manuel earned a Bachelor of Science of Architecture in 2015 and is currently completing his Masters in Computational Design in Ascoli Piceno, Italy. He works for the cultural program of Das Andere, a non-profit institution in Ascoli Piceno, where he organizes architecture conferences. He is interested in the connections in art and science. In 2015, he participated with Ph.D Silvia Verdolini at The Story of Light as exhibition designer. During the last year, he specialized in exhibition design & art in Maxxi museum, Rome and in Wari Watai office, Bangalore.

Giuseppe Bozzi

Giuseppe is a theoretical particle physicist, working on the phenomenology of elementary particles in Hadron Colliders. He has studied physics in Pisa (Masters) and Firenze (PhD), and worked as a research associate at the universities of Grenoble (LPSC), Karlsruhe (ITP), and Milano (Statale). He has taught several courses at the undergraduate level in Grenoble (Universite Joseph Fourier), Karlsruhe (Universitaet Karlsruhe), Novedrate (E-Campus University) and Milano (Statale and Politecnico). He was a freelance translator (EN-IT) for Zanichelli, Codice, and Raffaello Cortina.

S Bhuvaneshwari

S Bhuvaneshwari’s area of interest and study is Indian Philosophy from the Sanskrit sources. Her PhD at the University of Madras (2010) was a focused study on Pedagogy as seen in the tradition of Advaita Vedanta. She is presently doing her Post-doctoral Research at IIT-Madras in Chennai, where she is working on the Principles of Mimamsa in Advaita Vedanta. She has been teaching Indian Philosophy & Aesthetics since 1997. She has published 20 articles and two books on Indian Philosophy.
Between 1991 and 1995, she performed as a Bharatanatyam dancer. During this time time, she has also worked with Contemporary Choreographer Chandralekha and performed in four of her major productions.
