Flora is 67 years old and she lives alone because her husband has died. On her birthday she meets her grandson Toni who is 9 years old. Toni happens to see his grandmother talking to her husband’s picture, saying how much she misses him, on her first birthday since his death. While Flora goes to a store to buy some food, Toni builds a snow man and wears his grandfather’s clothes in an attempt to cheer Flora up and not feel her husband’s absence.
