Space Through Time
Curated by Lina Sunish Vincent

Venue: CENTRAL LIBRARY, PATTO
Space has always been the great unknown. Our ancestors viewed the sky as a mysterious place filled with gods and omens. It was only one hundred and twelve years ago that Einstein revealed his laws of relativity and only twenty seven years ago that we launched the Hubble telescope so we could look far past our galaxy.
‘Space through time’ takes a look at the human perception of space throughout our brief history and how this ever-changing perception shapes our position in the universe, both physically and philosophically. Taking the mythology and philosophy of our ancestors and bridging them to modern scientific questioning and exploration, the project aims to explore our heavens, an ever-evolving constant.
